Interior electronic rear view mirror for 2016 Nissan Rogue oh you more Smiles I don't want to view

Hello. I have a question about my 2016 Nissan Rogue that has the interior rear-view mirror with auto-dimming compass and garage door opener option. I'm purchasing 2014 Nissan Rogue that has just a regular mirror. I want to take the mirror from the 2016 Rogue with every option and put it into the 2014 Rogue that doesn't have the wire harness for the mirror. Can anyone tell me how to retrieve the complete wiring from the 2016 Rogue? Like where it comes out from the mirror on the windshield and where does it go and where does it end so that I can have the whole wiring harness to put into the 2014 Rogue

If the one on your '16 was a Nissan add-on accessory, you can remove the entire harness and accessory plug along with the mirror. The harness will run across the front edge of the roof and down the lefthand A-pillar, ending at the accessory I/F connector located behind the driver's footwell trim. There will be a pigtail plug inserted into the I/F connector that the harness will be wired into, remove the whole pigtail without unwiring anything. The I/F connectors are 100% standardized, so you can just plug the whole thing back in on your '14. If you don't find a separate mirror harness then the mirror was factory installed, in which case you'll need to get a harness. I don't know if they sell them without purchasing a whole mirror kit.
