For every opinion, there's an opposite opinion. Yes, I disagree. I do not know if Mr. Anderson ever had a gray leather interior, so I do not know if his opinion is based on personal experience. Before my G37, I drove a light gray leather interior car for 6 years and about 63K miles. I have 6,500 miles on my G37 with Stone interior. Both interiors required no additional cleaning because of their color. Just the usual leather cleaning and treatment about twice a year. Just the usual vacuuming to keep the mats and interior clean.
Now, I like a light color interior because I live in Phoenix and want to keep the interior as cool as possible. But, I have not noticed any increased maintenance over my previous black interiors.
