interior cloth panels removal for new ones

i got an s14 and reomved the tacky cloth pattern on the doors, tehn i got some fabric from the fabric store and i cant seem to get it to stay on, theres a spongy remain on the door and i bought this strong foam stick spray but the fabric i got still keeps peeling off, any ideas how to fix my panels?

Don't know what to tell you, but for others with s14s rit dye works really well and looks good instead of trying to reapholster. just my 2 cents.

Scrape off the foam...it sticks to the door material just fine...

i cant scrape off the foam, i tried goo gone and screw driver and stuff its just getting ruined

sand it off? who cares what it looks like as long as its off, then use a spray headliner adheisive to attach new cloth

Why don't you just sew it on. :)

No really, make sure the surface is smooth before you spray the adhesive. Then it should stick just fine.
