Interior accent lighting option DIY alternative

Has anyone out there done a DIY alternative to the $230 factory option? http://www.infinitiusa.com/jx/specs-opt ... ccessories

I can get LED lights for $20 at Walmart or Autozone but the problem is knowing what wires need to be connected to the car to make them come on and off at the right time.

I think these lights add a nice touch but there is no reason they should cost $230.

I know from this site http://www.infinitipartssuperstore.com/ ... cts_id=512 that I need an adapter but that's only $9 to get started.

If anyone has instructions for how to install the factory kit that would help me figure put how to hack a DIY version. Thanks!!!
