My radiator recently cracked. I got some stuff i think might fix it, i just have no clue how hot a 240, or most cars, run, in general. Thanks

if its a plastic end tank, junk it. if the cracked part is brass or copper, your best bet is to solder it.

use a torch, paste flux, and plumbers solder.

that leak fix pour-in stuff is garbage.

a car once warmed up will usually run about 190-210 degrees.

well, its the crummy stock plastic piece of ****. i cant afford a new one right now, and now junk yards have 240's in my area. i got some stuff called JB Weld, pretty neat stuff. The kind i got holds up to 300 degrees f, i found out they have a 500 degree version as well, i should have got that, but i hope the 300 degree stuff holds up for long enough, thanks
