I have had time to drive my car more today and well I have an interesting comparison. My brother had a 95 240sx auto less then a year ago he had it for a few years. Well when I launched his I could only get it to bark the tires or spin a little when the tires were almost bald. Today I test launched mine an (auto) for the first time and I left solid black marks over 2 feet long and I have brand new all weather tires. Is this due to the lighter motegi wheels on my car and less miles on the engine? his had stock wheels and 130k miles.???

Getting your tires to spin and or leave marks also depends on the road conditions. (Dust, moisture on road..?) If you can only get your tires to chirp but not give a solid peel, it may be because of the weather..? (the rubber would be cold and harder, and the road colder, thus easier to spin on a cold day)About the weight- Less weirght would help a lot, but you would see a large difference if you took like 500 lbs off your car.
