So I'm getting gas at QuikTrip yesterday when I notice that over by where the employees park is a light blue 1992 Q45 for sale. So I decide to walk in to pay rather than do the Pay-at-the-Pump deal.

I walk inside, ask about it and sure enough one of the employees was selling it. So I asked him a few questions about it and got this information: 152,000 miles, little maintenance, interior is disgustingly bad, really good stereo system. I asked him if he had the timing guide chains done and he had no clue what I was talking about so I'm 99 percent sure that's not done. Get this: he wanted $5800 for it. I told him I thought that was a little high and suggested he lower his price which he said he would consider.

Now it gets interesting: My last question was why we decided to sell that car. He told me he wanted something faster!!!! I was like wtf? those cars are beasts. He said, and I quote, "yeah, but I wanna get an accord and smoke people." I literally laughed right there. I said, come on buddy a wussy little 4-cylinder can't take a Q you should know that. He continued to disagree so I left. I wish I would've seen a freakin Honda right there to prove him wrong. Anyways, if anyone wants to drop 15 grand on a car after spending 5800 I've got one for you.

Nick

Go back and tag it with a NICO note - We'll abuse him into making a parts car out of it. :D

Well, the interior's shot, the motor and transmission are almost gone, and I bet there's rust on it also. Not much left besides non-moving engine spares.

Id take it for 800, and use some parts, and sell the rest..... You could probably get 500 off the hood alone! (if its in good shape)

If he wants an Accord to smoke people his timing must be way off and a transmission that slips as much as it catches... sad, sad, end to a great car.

The car was probably gifted to him. That's the only explanation for the lack of maintenance, high asking price for a run-down condition, and his seeking a blow-the-doors-off-the-competition-Honda Accord to replace it with.

Any Q owner that abuses their car should be chastized, and their car be confiscated and sent to a better home.......

Kinda like the animal rights activists......... Q rights activists!
