Did you notice there is a 0.8% speed difference between the two types of tires offered on the Rogue?Therefore, you cannot be right for both.
Then, you have the calibration of the speedometer (better than the fuel gauge, I hope). I am not sure you want Nissan to spend too much money on that "feature", probably more on a good sound system.
Then you have the use of the tires: When you won't have any more thread on them, the speed won't be the same than with brand new ones.
In conclusion, usually manufacturers make sure the speedometer shows higher speed than real to be sure we won't get a speed ticket when we play with the non official speed limits ( official limits + few mph). But then with the help of a GPS, you can try to get closer to the limit.
