well, i have an interesting opportunity....my friend's cousin is willing to sell his 88 civic....it a 5 speed but that's not really what concerns me....i found a turbo and since i've heard nothing bad about it...in fact nothing @ all...i'm gonna put the turbo in my 240 because it seems to be in pretty good condition...also an intercooler and a suspension are in order for my 240, while i use the 88 civic as a daily driver...as of right now the civic runs and the exhaust was just replaced...the only thing that needs to be fixed is the windsheld and the engine happens to be burning a little oil...i figured my friends and i could open up the engine and make it run decently....enough until i can get my 240 back on the road from it's mods and possibly sell the civic on eBay for a lot more than we pay for it...but here's the kicker....my friend's cousin is selling it for $60...what do u guys think...?

if it runs, its definately worth $60... if nothing else take it to a track and beat it until it dies!

if you need a beater go for it.i wouldn't even bother with opening up the engine.get a junkyard windsheild, and buy a d16 dropout from your neighbor doing a honda swap for 250$ and your set for a long time. nothing wrong with rockin a honda while your 240 is down.

Beater commuters are the way to go, while the project sits safely inside the garage/shop.

Get the beater!!

Get it. If someone offered me a car for 60 bucks I'd hop right on it.
