ok so last saturday i took the beast out for the first drift experience and let me say... wow it was f***ing sweet. so anyways no major problems throught the day i had one fan wire pop off a relay that was a simple fix..

the problem i had was the next day i was checking things and notice my exhaust side pcv fitting in the valvecover had poped out and the hose laid on my exhaust manifold.. i was wondering if it was just the luck of the draw or if there was a reason why it poped off.. when i insert it its pretty tight but it is able to rotate in the valve cover....

also a good note is i have had a drop of oil in the catch can...that i can tell ima remove it and pop the drain out and see but the level indicator shows no oil..

ive yet to compression test the motor but she feels good. nice and smooth and powerfull. i was drifting in 3rd which was unheard of with the ol ka lol.

There is supposed to be some sort of epoxy or something that holds those things in, but they often come out. Just get some JB weld, or any other metal 2 part epoxy, clean it up REALLY well, and put it back together. MAKE SURE to let it set until it fully cures, usually 24hrs.

well next time im thinking of trying 10 or 11 psi instead of 8 but i wanna dyno it first see how everyhting is before i go hog wild.

Yea, if you got it powder coated, the heat broke down the epoxy. That's actually how you are supposed to get them out.

Yea, I know it'll be hard, but leave the boost alone until you can get it tuned.

well i appreciate the information..

yea right now its just a t25g setup, fmic, walbro, turbo back, dual exhaust cams, fresh rebuild head job (no port) so nothing to special. i think the highest i seen the boost is 9.5psi around 6k or so.. (that was after i found the boost leaks) but i have it running from turbo outlet to wastegate so im not sure why it runs that much i figure its from the loss of back pressure and intake cone filter.
