Sup guys (and girls),

New to the site, ive got a 90 se 240sx w/ sr20det.

With the key out, engine off, etc, my gauge cluster brake light will illuminate, and the ecu stays energized. This is very annoying because my SAFC stays powered on also while the key isnt even in the car.

I know the problem is not in the engine harness wiring, I currently am having the engine harness repaired and its out of the car, and the brake light still illuminates.

Anyone ever heard of a similar problem? Im thinking that once its powered on a relay or something is stay energized and is feeding power back into the circuit. I seem to be having a hard time finding electrical diagrams for the car to trace the problem.

Thanks.

You are right, the engine harness doesnt have anything to do with this....Did you replaced the cluster with another after the swap??? If yes, you have a bad cluster...if not check wiring in the ignition section of the circuits... I seem to be having a hard time finding electrical diagrams for the car to trace the problem.Find and FSM, or search for a link to download the FSM in the web......

Thanks.
YOu are welcome...
