Yah, at first I thought those auctions were pretty funny... then I realized that someone's house had to take some damage for that auction to exist.

Ah, natural distasters. Maybe I should auction some charred bark from the hundreds of thousands of acres we here in California watched burn this year. Or maybe I'll wait for the next earthquake... the cows say were due...

EDIT: I mean no disrespect by this post. If buying a shingle or a jar of water will help a person or a family get back on their feet, I'm there.
