Interesting CEL P34C5...ever ran across this?

2017 QX60, I just did the whole timing set due to chain just being worn out and loose. about 1/4" gap wiht the tensioner all the way out.

Now I am getting the P34c5 "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Control Circuit Driver Current/Temperature Too High Bank 2

It wasnt there before...maybe the unit was bad? Kind of odd.

That's an electrical error in the IVT, but you may just have "moved the furniture" on the actuator when the timing cover was off. Try having the dealer do a re-learn on the valve controller (I don't think there's any aftermarket scanner capable of doing it).

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I have a launch 919E diag system and I was able to calibrate it just now! woot woot!
