ECU swap. can u put a ext coil ecu into an internal?

i hear that people put external A/T into external m/t and internal-internal. but i was curious if u can do external a/t into an internal m/t

no no what i'm asking is. can i pull the ecu out of my 92 240 (ka24de) that has an external coilpack. and stick it into my 95 240 (ka24de) with an internal coilpack.

the 92 has a A/T and the 95 is M/T. whether or not the red car will run is irrelevant. i want to know if the white car will run.
