Hi y'all,

I'm a civic driver, but please don't hold that against me!

My sister is looking to buy a new car, and her price range puts her out of civic territory. We've been looking at and pricing different compacts and after test drives she really loves the Versa, she digs the look, found it really comfortable and likes the smooth ride, we're 99% sure we're going to buy one by the end of the month.

I've been negotiating with some dealers, and I think this is the best offer I've gotten so far:
2010 1.8S Sedan with Auto transmission, Power package and floor mats, $13,433 +TTL (including $1500 nissan rebate).

Now there's another dealer a couple of counties over, and the internet sales guy there said he'd beat any dealer in the area, so I'm waiting for him to email me back with a counter offer. Is this a good price? Am I way off base or is about $13,000 a good ballpark figure to negotiate down to?

Thanks everyone!

Sounds like a good deal ...
If it is the car she wants then she should get it ...

When I bought mine I went to the dealer told them the features I wanted and they went out and found the car for me. It took a week to get her, but it was worth the wait !

That's a really good price for it, around here you can't get that model below $15,000.

If she really likes it she should get it, I personally think it's better than the Fit, Aveo, and Accent.
