uh-oh, number one thing to look out for is the e-pimp, you introduced yourself and well.....boys will be boys, thta being said, decide ont he car you want, and how important each aspect is, if you want a 5 speed TT it's a heack of a lot easier and cheaper to just buy a 5 speed TT, if you want a red automatic n/a it's easier to find one than paint one, other than that, the higher the milage and the earlier the model the more potential problems, nothing lasts for ever and parts are gonna wear out but the newer lower miles cars are gonna cost you, whatever yera, milage and model you get be sure to get documentation of the last timing belt, they are due every 60k miles and if they go so does the engine, and it's an expensive replacement when it's sue for replacement, other than that, try to find one with good interior and experion taht hasn't been wrecked or repainted, to be sure you not buying one soneone else tried to coverup potentially serious chassis problems
