Well, I am in the market for a new car. I've always loved the G35's, and how well Infiniti built the exhaust system. The car just sounds so clean. I've done my research, and I have been browsing these forums for about 2 days now. I believe I have made up my mind. I have set my heart towards an 03 Infiniti Coupe. (pref black or silver).

I just have some questions before I make my final decsion, and I figured why not ask the people who actually own the car:

1) Hows the gas mileage?2) Hows the realibility on these cars? Any common or serious issues I have to be worried about?3) How easy is this car to get around 350 horses with?4) Should I buy one?

I am going from an 01 A6 2.7T with about 250horses to a potential 280hp coupe lol. Granted the Audi was fully loaded, and had 2 small turbos. Am I making a smart decsion?

I have an '04, which is the same car.

18-24 depending on city or highway, and how hard you step on it. I am about 50/50 on highway/city, and average 21.9 MPG.

Seem pretty reliable. The VQ engine is a great foundation. The stereo has some issues with some of the cars.

Depends on your idea of easy. Assuming you are speaking of "wheel HP" and not "crank HP". S/C or turbo, and easily. You keep it N/A, and it is do-able, but not that easy.

Yes, buy it, you should enjoy it.

Your Audi was posted at 250 HP which is about 210 at the tires. The G is 280 which is about 240 at the tires. You should notice a difference, since they are close to the same weight.

Check out the board...you'll get a sense of what the car can do with mods. Like Bean said, 350HP to the wheels is a lot different from 350HP at the flywheel. FI or a built engine is the only way to get that kind of power to the wheels.

GET THE G!!
