This is an interest thread to gauge the number of people interested in purchasing the new AIT Series Trunk Lid in either Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass and are ready to purchase it once we get a solid $$ amt from AIT .
For those who do not know, I have this lid and right out of the box it was perfect! That thread can be found here. There was no fitment issues what so ever and it fits like a glove. The trunk can be made in either fiber glass or carbon fiber. Retail for the CF lid is $845 but the final cost will be lower depending on the number of people who are interested. Same goes for the lid in Fiberglass. Cost of that would be $500 but again lower with the more people interested. Unfortunately shipping will be at $170. But keep in mind this is not a small box! When mine was delivered, it came in a 53' tractor trailer and the box itself was 2' x 2.5' x 6'! That's HUGE!!!! and AIT pads the heck out of it. So C'mon people, vote on the product you want and I'll go back to AIT with the numbers and get us the best price on this kick butt product!
