Hello everyone I have recently contacted Outcast Garage (http://www.outcastgarage.com/) based out of CA to see if they had any plans to make parts for the Y51 platform (2011+ M37/M56/Q70). As of right now he doesn't think there is much of a market for it, but Outcast Garage did ask that I create a page to gauge the level of interest. I think this would be a great opportunity for us all especially since Outcast Garage is located in California which i know we have many members in that area that can stop by to test fitment if Outcast Garage decides to go forward on producing parts for us.

Like I said this is just to gauge the level of interest. I am not an employee or affiliated with this company. I am active over at myg37.com and Outcast Garage is a very popular vendor over there. I would like to thank wideop11 and Ilyakol, and the other Nicoclub moderators for giving is their blessing to allowing this thread. Hopefully we show Outcast Garage that there is a indeed a market for aftermarket parts for our chassis and that they'll become a vendor of this forum.

Feel free to throw out some ideas on what you would be interested in seeing Outcast Garage can produce for our cars. I would like to see a rear diffuser similar to this made out of carbon fiber or polyurethane without breaking the bank:

I would be in for a replica of the Access Evolution diffuser above, including the front lip spoiler for the Sport bumper. Or even a replica Black Bison rear deck spoiler, or the duck bill style of the Impul. Pretty much ANYTHING is better than the abysmal US aftermarket for this car.

I'd definitely be in for that diffuser as well so long as it isn't like $900. It HAS to be able to fit a Stillen muffler or similar diameter muffler end.

I can't check their site from work, but if they also make strut bars/tower braces, etc. I'd be interested in at least a front strut bar/tower brace. Front and rear would be even better. Even for the older M, virtually no one makes such a part and if they did they were like $450. That is asinine. I used to be able to get a strut bar for my 99 Maxima for $40 on EBay. It shouldn't be more than $100.

If we want to get real crazy with 'wish list', like the guys above, I wouldn't mind a CF lip for the non-sport bumper either...or at least see a mock-up of one...however, lip kits, etc. aren't that important to me so my interest is vague (I'd have to see it on a car, etc.). This would tie in nicely with my black windows and hopefully the diffuser mentioned above.

Agreed, I like the one above for the rear and this front lip (for us non-Sport nor Aero folks):

A rear spoiler similar to the OEM one but without the provision for the emblem would be nice too.

YES! A front lip for non-sport bumper just like above or even slightly more aggressive.

Agreed, that front lip is nice. It's not insanely outrageous, but it's just noticeable enough to tie the car together.

Guys, please make sure your money is where your mouth is, to put it bluntly. As many of the senior members (those who've been around the M 'game' a while - both in the Y50 and Y51 realm) will attest...we have had numerous 'interest' threads before and no one ever stepped up when the time came (last one being the engine under tray by TollBoothWilley). As far as I know, I'm the only one in our community who is rocking one.

If you say you're interested in a part, please make sure that 6 months later (or a year - however long it takes) when that part is released your intentions are still the same and you actually pony up the funds. Otherwise, when it comes to paying for the items to start the production runs, the rest of us are left with nothing thanks to all the ballers...I mean bailers.

No one makes parts for this car because of the lack of interest or people backing out.

I REALLY want that diffuser.

Sorry to be blunt and to the point, but someone needed to say it. :poke:

Thuc what front lip are you referring to? The one's I've seen posted so far are for the standard front bumper that you currently own.

What do you guys think of a thick and aggressive lip for the standard front bumper? I think our cars are bubbly enough plus how bold and thick the car's side profiles are, i think it can pull off a front lip like this:

It looks good, but I don't know if it looks good enough to want. I'm leaning towards a small CF one.

haha fair enough but I just glanced at the bottom photo of the fx and a photo of your car in the signature. I think the bulges on the side of the front lip would flow with the bulges in the sideskirt. A

Now that I think about it (went through my phone pics of my car), you may have a point. The Y51 bumper is already 'flared' a bit at the bottom edges. I'd consider that flip, having said that. If I was home, I could photoshop most of this stuff and post...but my photoshop PC is 3hrs north and I won't be back home till the 2nd weekend of August.

I have no photoshop skills so unfortunately I can't help you out there. But if you get around to make a rendering, be interesting to see how it turns out.

Understood and agreed, the thing is pricing. I REALLY wanted that same rear diffuser as well, and set money aside to purchase it along with the front non-sport lip I posted. Then decided I wasn't interested in paying a total of around 3K for the parts + shipping from Japan. Those items made here in the States, even from CF, can cost substantially less I'm sure. They would definitely sell at the right price.

Yeah I don't think, if this works out, we'll be spending thousands. That's why I also don't get stuff from Japan. If shipping wasn't ridiculous and it was cheaper, I probably would. We need USA made stuff.

Overall I think Outcast Garage's pricing are fair and the quality seems good, that's why I approached them. Price is obviously is going to be a factor for both us the buyers and Outcast as the seller. If we show them the demand, they can give us an idea on pricing.

I agree the cheaper the better. Plus if its priced too high it will scare away all the buyers.

And yep finally updated my located. LOL

It would be awesome if they could make the 2015+ Infiniti Q70 front bumper out of polyurethane that will work is compatible to the 2011-2013 M37/M56/M35h & 2014 Q70 headlights. :dblthumb:

There is a guy in the Y50 M forum who's working on some 'chopped bumpers' (combination of Y50 and Q50), etc. I think he mentioned he may mock up some for the newer M,

Please count me for intrest in body parts for my M 56 aero. I am especially interested in front and rear difusers. A different option for a grill would be awesome as well. Thanks
