So i was wondering. . . ive seen intercoolers with logos on them.

Can i put my own on ?:ylsuper

Could i just get some engine paint/brake paint to put my own witty saying on an intercooler like "move" backwards, or "Psst!"or something. But if i see anyone with "UnderPressure" on their intercooler i swear i will steal it and burn your car.:)peace,Flash

you should get some colored tape and do it... i wouldn't want to **** up a good intercooler with just one not-well thought out brain fart "great idea"

Would colored tape hold up under that heat? hmmm I doubt it. The engine enamel should work, but I wouldn't put very much on, just enough to read what it says. but then again I have no idea what paint would do to an intercooler : )

Most I/C kits come with a stencil and spray, so when you see Greddy or HKS sprayed on an I/C that’s how they got it ;)

my suggestion is to e-mail Greddy and ask them what spray to use.

hmmm, i was always under the impression that intercoolers are cold, hence the name, interCOOLer, so tape would hold up, if one was that ghetto

Hmm, good point but if you look at it from a stand point of an intercooler just being a smaller raditor for the air traveling to the intake, it's still rather warm. Ever touched your radiator after you've been running awhile? Abet it's going to be hotter then an i/c it's still fairly warm air running into the thing.

Plus atmospheric conditions, moisture, humidity, splash up from rain, all this would make mense meat of tape in a very short while.

Tape would block incoming air flow. That's not good.

Paint should work fine.

i was just talking about taping like around the little bars in the front... in either case, air doens't flow "into" an intercooler it just flows onto it, cooling the metal, in turn cooling the air
