intercooler woes (big pictures)

So I ordered fmic intercooler pipes from ss autochrome (expecting poor fitment and that I would need to modify) and I came up with this...I was able to make the hot pipe side and it works and it doesn't leak, but the pipe seems to sit so close to the filter that I can't use it. Then the cold pipe side, there is a 90' bend pipe that comes out which is fine and will work....but the 2nd piece is total junk nothing is right...I don't even know how to explain or what to do now. any suggestions? Here is the pictures.

The 90' bend:

the stupid piece, the bends are right except for where it connects to the throttle body and the bungs aren't right either obviously, I'm thinking it's for an s14 sr and I can't return it now :

I think my problem is I get way to excited about things, rush into them, and then create more problems and waste time and money HELP

since you cant return it, you have two choices (both which involve a metal fabricator or exhaust shop).

either cut the existing cold pipe to accomodate the location of your TB. or have the exhaust shop make an entirely new cold pipe.

lesson: if you can't return it, don't buy it. (especially if its an eBay piece).

Yeah this is the first time I've actually ebay'd anything for this car and I don't plan on it ever again. Guess I'm just going to have to take it as a loss.

Ok heres a question...god my brain is fried. So I have an s14 with an s13 redtop swapped in obviously. What do i order the FMIC kit for? an s14? or do i order it for the engine and not the chassis?

NM excuse my retardedness. Doesn't matter anyways, I've come up with a fairly easy solution to it taht doesnt involve welding. Thanks anyways.
