intercooler, which side cold?

one side of my intercooler is smooth on the inside the other is not it is like this.I__II__I does anyone know which side is which? thanks

I think that the finned side of the intercooler is meant to face forward. The fins direct the air through the intercooler instead of around it.

I'm just going to stick with that side being the front. Since apparently neither of us know, it's a 50/50 shot. LOL. Bump, though... I'm sure NismoFreak will have some better information.

i dont know what you mean by front, both sides r the same. cold side and hotside internals r different. thanks evryone tho. and bump
