Hey guys, I ordered my CA on Friday and I'm starting to look for an intercooler kit. My friend has the SS Auto Chrome one and it works pretty good, but apparently he had to ghetto rig the hot pipe and the cold pipe or something, not quite sure. All I know is that something doesnt line up somewhere with SSAC

Anyway, he suggested I try their S14 SR kit, any suggestions or ideas?

I have the s14 sr kit and I had to modify both the cold and hotpipe, it still looks good. Just took some work and a few extra couplers to get it to fit decently. Theres not really an affordable kit out there that I know of that doesn't require modification.

Consider buying a good JDM brand and having the piping made.I don't know why so many people buy SS auto-****. Take a look at their e-bay feedback. Crack manifolds are just the beginning. Sending the incorrect turbos to turbos that only last for a month. It's cheap for a reason.

Their intercoolers are fine. The "Cores" all pretty much come from the same place and the price of cores has dropped considerably the last couple years.

Don't you all just hate it when people rag on products they don't even own? Oh wait, I bet the endtanks are glued on...

I really don't want to get in a debate about this, but if you're comparing SS auto to ARC, HKS, or even Trust, you're out of your mind. Half of the threads on here are about wheather or not you can trust thier products. If it works for you, great. But I'm a JDM whore.
