if you buy a cheap intercooler from e-ghey, be prepared for it not to fit perfectly.everyone i've ever installed needed some tweaking or in some cases major modification.also stay away from cheap turbos and wastgates, these are components that should not be bought by price. quality should be the main concern here.

there is a lot of information here about quality turbo kits and setups. do some research before investing money in a turbo kit that you are unfamilar with.

just buy a universal fit intercooler and make yoru own pipes. It ends up costing less and most intercoolers will get the job done just fine. Take a look at Johnny Racecar intercoolers. Cheap, well made, and work efficiently too.

Check out Hybrid. They have a very nice set up for early SR's. The only pipe you will have to make is the hot pipe from the pipes to the turbo. I will be going with one of these set ups. I know there are cheaper solutions, but I would rather only have to make one pipe.If you want more information check out a post called "would this work for an intercooler."I made the thread a few days ago. There is some good infor regarding the hybrid kit, an eBay alternative and some other thoughts on custom kits.

Hey that's not necessarily true, look at west coast one of NICO sponsors. They sell waste gates and turbos for an amazing price, of course their turbos are rebuild, But I can vouch for them. Iv used their turbos and wastegates on two of my CRX's and Im about to get another turbo, wastegate, setup for my brothers 240.

But Im not saying thats true for everyone, Steve is right too. only reason I bought from west coast is cause they are NICO sponsors. So do becareful of others.

yeah, haha.that's why i added the part about researching what other people had good results with a quality rebuilt turbo will be usually much cheaper than a new one so therefore it would be a good buy.where you have to cautious is when you see a new turbo or other critical parts for dirt cheap.
