I wanted to get some thoughts about the Johnny race car intercooler.

What do you guys think about the square end tanks?

The johnny racecare cooler is 2 inches wider and one inch higher.

For a 20.25 x 6.5 x 2.25" core, that's pretty damn low. But hey, what do you expect for $68 off of ebay...

Agreed. JRC is the way to go. Stay away from that ebay crap. Pretty much the only good things from ebay are manifolds, some wastegates and p0rn....oops...I mean....pipes?

lol....now we know what you search for on ebay.....I plan to get JR intercooler for future projects.Can't beat the price.

$70 for the Ebay IC sounds kinda fishy.

And I'd pay the extra $30 ($215 vs $185) for the better end tanks from JRC.

You will notice the (relative) lack of internal fins on the Ebay unit, this is why you are only paying 70 bux for it. It is crap, the SSAC unit is better, but also more expensive. Doesn't seem to be a bad unit. But when what is on ebay is cheaper than SSAC, you should consider yourself on notice.
