What is a reasonable intercooler i can find for the ca18det. I only have about $ 300 to spend. I checked ebay but did not find anything really.

GTR cores are a nice size for a CA and you can find them on ebay for under $300 from time to time. If you can find someone with an Evo that has upgraded you could probably pick up their stock unit for less than that, and that is a nice front mount that is well designed.For $300 you should be able to do a starion front mount and piping, expect to pay $150 for one in good shape though. There are a lot of "universal" ones on ebay that look pretty nice, but I don't know how easy they would be to mount. Nothing in that price range is going to bolt up except the stock side mount, so you'll probably have to do some fabrication for whatever you chose.

s13 sr sidemount corethen a s13 sr hot pipethen stock cold pipe. that wilm run you about 150 is you buuy the hot pipe used maybe less.

then when you ahve more money to upgrade to a fmic you can re use your hot pipe

Thats a link to a stainless HKS cold pipe for an SR side mount setup, I don't know if it will help anyone on here but its only got a couple hours left and its got no bids at $25... thats a steal.

two of my favorites
