hey guys,

Im in the market for an intercooler, but I don't know what size or brand to get. I was just wondering if you guys can suggest size or brand, and let me know what you guys have running. I've been searching for reviews and setups but no one is really specific on how it fits and the performance value.

I do plan on getting the greddy intake manifold w/ q45 tb and this will be mounted on an s14, if that is any relevant for you guys suggesting me something.

Thanks for the help.

Greddy SR20 Off the shelf units then modifying the pipping will do you fine.

Depending on what power goals, budget, and such will depend on what model kit you'll want to go with.

If not, Precision makes some nice cores. Then you'll just need custom piping from there.

Since I am kind of on a budget, I was considering the Greddy LS spec, but it seems like the inlet/outlet is 2.25 or 2.75" (I dont remember which). I thought it would be a good idea to keep the same pipe size throughout the setup, then I started looking at those Megan universal FMIC that has a 3" outlet and a 2.75" inlet size. it comes in two sizes 28x11.75x3 (large) and a 22x11.75x3 (small). Has anyone used these? how is it?

i put a ebay 31x12x3 in mine. thats about as big as you can fit. id try to find 2.5in in and out so you dont have to buy reducers. id say name brand coolers arent necessary unless your going over 450whp even then id like to see some back to back comparisons.

I'm going to use my precision intercooler for the 26. One of the best intercoolers out on the market. You could also get xs engineering FMIC, heard those are nice as well. Or i'd get gtr oem calsonic fmic..
