welll the cooler is the final destination, but if I can cool the intake air even more then great. I'm trying to do something like this

http://www.designengineering.c....html

of course without the brand and pricetag. But with a spiral instead of the bulb (for obvious reason $$$/hard). Actually I was thinking about it after I posted last time and it's not a CO2 leak I'm worrying about, it's a boost leak from the welds between the outer pipe and the spiral. But hey, if it doesn't work I'll throw the custom pipe away and just spray the cooler. Fortunately for me work around here is cheap. Hell... I'm getting my manifold, downpipe and intecooler piping custom made to my specs for around $300. Jeje

you should see my intercooler piping / vacuum lines plan, now that's engineer-ful

I will most likely just run a water system. seeing as its anyware from 5-15% humidity where i live, water would do a great job. water could infact reach temps below 32 degres F.

I have long since contemplated using water injection, I even bought all the parst and pieces to build one. But the fact that you can't use it at the track kills me. I would love the extra cooling on the street, but if you can't use it at the track, how can you actually time your improvements?? An N2O spray or alternative would be my choice over water.

i used a washer pump, some tube, and a couple of mister nozzles from home depot to rig up 2 mister sprays on my radiator once :-P I was desperate for something to keep my car from overheating......hahahahaa. It worked well to cool the radiator after the car was turned off and there was no fan going. Cept those home depot crap nozzles are like 10 bucks a pack and only 1/2gph......they clog real easy.

Im going to run a water kit on the intercooler, and I will use it at the track, I will just wait until about half way down to kick it in.:D

Just be sure not to get caught, you could be banned from the track or fined. It also creates a dangerous racing track for others who are already barely keeping traction. A small amount of water on a track can make you hit the wall...I'd probably wanna kill someone if they had anything to do with me putting my car into the wall...or worse, injuring another racer or myself.

Think before you race...why do you think the Government is all over street racing. Cause people don't think first, they just do...
