how important is intercooler size? is a blitz LM a large intercooler? I want to push over 400whp so I know I need a good one are there any recomendations? I have tried to search but I found little info. lots on the stock peice but thats about it. FMIC is definatley the way for me to go.

Second question when upgrading to a metal head gasket what size is prefered? wont a smaller one raise Compression ratio? I am still confused on how to pick one.

They start to max out at a little over 450 or so, you would want to go w/ a Blitz Remix IC if you want to push 500+hp IMO

Talk to Alex at N-sport.com , they sell the Skyline intercoolers with their turbo stage -1 kit, he maybe able to just sell you just the intercooler. I have it on my car, the thing is f**kin huge!!!

Type S is good for that.

the Type R supports 700+ rwhp.

I think most people do some major overkill on their intercooler. But then again maybe im just cheap and poor...

Yea, i have been asking myself this question lately, what would be the best bet for an FMIC in the way of value, performance, overall quality including pipeing, and in about the realistic 350HP range? I have been thinking Blitz LM or HKS type S, but many people have the Greddy VSPL?? What is everyones suggestion:D

"Most" people 'plan' on building car for more hp in the future...and rather only do it once, then have to sell and rebuy a new intercooler in a year or two when they upgrade...."do it right, so you dont have to do it again" ya know....but yea, "most people" seem to end up not modding anyway so they could have saved : )
