Does anyone know if there is any other shop that does the V-Mount setup?

Other than Signal shops?

If so i would greatly appreciate a website or any info on them or their setup, so i dont have to go it alone.

you probably wont be able to do it alone

it takes the ability to weld aluminum for the radiator and intercooler mounts. you also need to have custom pipe for the I/C and hose for the radiator, i'm pretty sure you MUST have an electric fan. and then there will be vents to make to route the air so you have it moving in the right place. and last but not least, a vented hood to make the air move thru the radiator/intercooler like it normally would stock

talk to the guys at epik motorsports. they run some pretty creative intercooler/radiator setups. they're good people, so they should be more than happy to help you out.

While this is assuredly a prohibitively expensive option, I think I've seen setups like that on Top Secret's cars, so if you go to Bulletproof Automotive (i.e. Top Secret III) they might be able to do it.

Just go with Signal, viva Mad K.

You could check out the issue for Drift Tengoku a few months back. They were doing a special on V-mount setups. That should give you ideas on how to do it.

it's definately not a hard thing to do, i'm just saying doing it yourself is probably out of the question. and from what i've heard, Signal USA sucks

Why would Signal USA suck? they did make that 900HP R34 that's been decimating track records all year in the US, and it's run by japanese guys.

Signal USA does NOT suck. IMO they are one of the best import shops that the US has

hahahahahaha.

signal isn't close to the best shop in the US. they just happen to have a name that a lot of people recognize so everyone jumps all over their nuts for no reason.

and V mount = rice.clutch fan and shroud >>>>>>>>>>>>> * even koguchi said that his car with fan and shroud was wayyy more reliable than his vmount car.

V mount is probably better in a race situation where it'll be moving, but you think it'll cool well when it's sittin in traffic?

I told you Signal wasnt "the best shop the US has" too...thanks ryan for backing me up on that one (i read it in a magazine lol i'm east coast and ignorant to the west coast shops completely)

I'd definately believe that a traditional radiator/intercooler setup is more reliable...after all, they do it that way in cars from the factory so why the hell wouldnt it be the most reliable?

you need to find a shop that just has all around good fabricating skills. not a lot of shops in the usa have done this yet. i would assume with a project like this you could find a good shop and have no problem getting their "master" fabricator taking care of it and not the new guy.
