previously posted best bang for buck, only got one reply.. im upgrading side mounts and i/c piping.
i know theres the Ashspec Massives with SMIC's which are 1375
but i also looked at the z1 B.A smics with there piping which is a little cheaper but still 1000+
which way should i go? i was thinking z1 just because install would be easier... or what the best SMIC without 2.5 inch piping.. that isnt soo much. im either going to go big with these or just get some godspeed's so i can run higher boost safe and work on getting rims..WHAT DO

What kind of power are you planning on making? I'm sure the standard z1 kit will be sufficient.

Awhile back ash had made a kit he called "ash sport" or something along that nature. I would think that would be a good bang for your buck setup. Problem is finding a used set might be difficult. Maybe give SZ a call and see if they can get their hands on a set.

The Stillen kit and Z1's basic kit are all pretty good choices. I have a link to flow charts on my PC so tomorrow I'll post them when I get to my PC.

It appears that by upgrading the OEM cast endtank pipe to a 2.5" component on the Stillen SMICs, there is a gain of 42.4CFM. Still a decent margin between the MASSIVES, but still impressive as it outperforms everything other.

I have heard of a few issues with fitment on z1's new 2.5" kit so I would stick with ash's kit or coz's if upgrading the piping. If your only going to upgrade the IC's the Godspeed units are what I would get unless you come across a good deal on some stillen IC's.

Ash-Spec Sports are the same as Z1's regular 2.0" ICs. I run them on my Z and they're great. If going to 2.5" ICs, don't forget the throttle bodies. So it's actually about $1700 for the Ash Massives, and $1400 for the Z1 kit. Then you'll need a tune to optimize all that.

People are always looking for 2.0" ICs to upgrade to from stock for swaps and all, so you can always sell them after. Plus, people are selling their upgraded ICs when they go to 2.5" as well.

Speaking of which I popped in one of the forsale groups on FB today and saw someone was selling a set of very clean Stillen SMIC's.

How much?
Just curious as not ready to buy but this would be a great choice for the OP, and I would like to know a "good price" as I would like to go that route (used Stillen) when/if I upgrade turbos...

Those are knock-offs of the Z1 SMIC design. The original is the same price at Z1, and www.ImportPartsPro.com may actually match it:
