This is a noob question but here it goes, what intercooler/piping kits do not require getting rid of the front bumper reinforcement. I am purchasing parts for the sr swap and intercooler kit is next. it will be an s14 sr into a 95 240. i dont care about brand names, shoot some links please.

if i were to get an intercooler kit that requires you to get rid of the metal bumper and make custom brackets that will lean the top of the intercooler back behind the bumper. at the same time this will keep the bottom in the same place it was meant to be and all the piping should line up

the reinforcement bar is only good for 5-10mph..therefore if your going from say 25-80 and hit something your still gonna mess something up pretty good..if your going 5,10,15 maybe 20 it would help

you wouldnt total the car going 5-20 mph more than likely..when i say it is good for 5-10 mph i dont mean if you dont have the reinforcement bar you will total the car...i mean it takes about that much off of the impact..say you wreck at 60 its really like you wreck and 50 with the reinforcement bar..and what does touche mean?
