I'm looking at the same deal and I'm only going to 225HP with a T3 60 trim.Chezedik wrote:I am going to run a 24x6.5x3 SSAC. The welds are GREAT, as far as efficiency, they don't offer numbers. But I imagine they are in the 70-75% range, drop will be certainly less than 2PSI. Try theirs.
question why wouldn't you test with hot air. because testing with cold air should show a lot less of a pessure drop than it would have with the hot air off the turbo being cooled?Edub1 wrote:

I just hope when they advertise low drop they are testing with cool air.
Wouldn't that be funny - "buy our intercooler because it doesn't do squat."
Great choice! I own the 8" johnny race car intercooler. They're more familiar with the honduh boys, but they've been proven to work well and for the price, you cant beat em.thekawaii wrote:I did seriously lots of research, decided to buy johnny race car intercooler.185 shipped.
(how's your Hybrid turbo write-up going? i'm still waiting )
If you have a volume of hot air at a certain pressure and you cool it down, you decrease pressure. So, testing with hot air should show a pressure drop perportional to the heat loss.Iamjohnhayes wrote:
