intercooler problem

Hey I have an 89 240sx with a 98(s14) sr20 in it. I am looking to get a FMIC, and I don't what kind to get. I have been told that I have to have custom piping because it is an s13 chasis with an s14 engine. I was just wondering if any of you have done this and if you know whether I can just get a kit for an s13 or s14. So let me know thanks.
