cant decide whether to go with the greddy vspl kit or try to fab my on kit, which might be cheaper.my question is..if i were to buy just an i/c and then buy universal plumbing, how would i deal with the nipples for the vaccuum lines.can u buy these to weld in?...just looking for suggestions from somebody who has done this,or is it just a waste of money and time, and i should just get the vspl?...also,any opinions on the vspl...any mods have to be done to the piping,or is it direct drop in?...any input from anyone who has done either of these i/c setups would be appreciated.

You would need to cut a hole through the battery tray for the cold pipe to go through to the throttle body, I think thats it. I would go ahead and get the vspl, reasonably priced and it saves you alot of trouble

The only "nipple" you would need would be the IACV which is a 3/4" OD pipe IIRC.

Other than that, you just need a cold pipe from throttle body to end tank, and a lower hot pipe...from upper hot pipe to end tank
