Intercooler piping size questions.

For a low boost (7psi) turbo system on a KA24DE, what do you guys think is the ideal intercooler piping size?

I'm thinking 2 1/4" or 2 1/2". Also, should the cold pipes and hot pipes be the same size, or should one be bigger than the other?

2.5 sounds fine and they should both be the same size. Try and get an intercooler thats taller and not longer, the longer the runners the larger the pressure drop from the intercooler.
