I searched the forum for some info on this but i didnt get any results :( I would like some suggestions on what size IC piping I should use in my RB25 swap and what FMIC is good and reliable for the swap. This will be my first foray into driving/maintaining a turbo car, so I want my setup to be optimal in performance and reliabilty (doesnt everyone?). Any help would be appreciated

Alot of people prefer the Powerdigger Hybrid FMIC for the RB swap. It's big and is quite efficient (.2 psi loss I believe). Night7Racing sells it.

I got my Hybrid this week... pulled it out today... gorgeous!!! Very high quality unit.

I personally would go with 2.5" piping... no bigger. Stock piping is ~60mm if I remember correclty which is slightly smaller (2.36") than 2.5". Unless you have access to 60mm piping... I would go with the 2.5".

Keep in mind that velocity slows as you up the diameter... so only use what you need, but with allowance for upgrades (depending on what you plan on)... it's nice to do things once.

Check out sites/call the different companies like Greddy, HKS, and Apex and see what size piping they use for their intercooler kits. Might give you some direction into what you are trying to accomplish. Hope this helps.
