Its turning cold weather now and Ive started blowing my intercooler pipes off like crazy. I tighened them all up the first time, but I just seem to keep blowing them off. It just started this crap!!! I have a blitz fmic if that helps. Does anyone know of a company that makes some heavy duty hose clamps or something to that effect? I just have those standard hose clamps with the screw in the top of it that adjusts the diameter of the clamp. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

COOLER AIR IS DENSER... BUT THAT SHOULDN'T MNAKE YOUR IC PIPES COME OFF.

YOU SHOULD REPLACE YOUR WORM GEAR CLAMPS IN FAVOR OF SOME T-BOLT OR CONSTANT TORQUE CLAMPS... THEY ARE STRONGER AND HAVE MORE CLAMPING FORCE.

T bolt clamp...is that the correct termanology? Is there another name that it could fall under. I live in mississippi and most of these shops have a bunch of retards working the floor. I went to three places today and no one knew what a t bolt clamp was.....Ill try napa tomorrow, if they dont have it, then I guess Ill drive a few miles to a performance shop and buy some.

it could be caused by the cold weather....the with the cold air hittin the warm intercooler pipes can cause condensation....leading to ur couplers slipping off the pipe....happened to me last yr....so i got my pipes welded cuz i got sick of it..

you'll get raped at those places. they often charge like $10 for ONE clamp. try eBay. i say like 10 of them for $25 or so.

yea Id go with ebay, I used to work at a marine hardware shop in gulfport and we had some t-bolt clamps, and that is the right name for them.. You could try a marine shop, but if you cant find them on ebay I could prob go to my old work and order you some...
