I today totally took off my frontend and tried to figure out how to put in my intercooler piping. I know there will be some cutting but I am looking for the least amount of cutting possible. I also Know that the battery will be moved to the trunk. Can you please show me pictures of s14's with intercooler piping? Possibly with the bumper off, showing the battery side and the hot pipe side. Even pictures of SR's, and RB's in s14 will help me greatly.

Thanks

Actually you don't have to move the battery if you route the piping like F-Max and NSport do. They bring the pipe up right next to the fan shroud.

The pic that Nsport provide sof everything in their kit is in fact EVERYTHING in their kit right? So you could look at that pic, figure out which piping is which and you could see roughly what i/c piping will look like for a turbo KA with an FMIC.

Yeah really all I want is a picture of someone with the front bumper off. I have a couple hundred pics but none with parts off. I'd like to see some with the bumper support still on the car too and some without the support there anymore.Anything, anyone posts or sends to me will be accepted withgreat pleasure. Thanks again

This guy has the sickest KA24DET I've ever seen...and tons of pictures of the engine bay...look at these two pictures, they show close-ups of the IC piping and where it runs....When i get my kit in the summer, very little modification will be needed; I can keep my AC, my stock fan/shroud, and won't have to cut the bumper much because the FMIC I'm using is 24.5 x 6 x 3, from my calculations anything over 7" wide for the IC and you have to do some serious cutting of the metal part of the bumper, unless you want that expensive FMIC dragging on the ground or being one of the lowest parts in the front....From the turbo the IC piping I'm using will go through a hole already in the bumper, and straight down into the front bumper area, then on the otherside it will go up through the small area between the passenger-side tow hook and the radiator hose..look at these pics, they'll clear up some confusion, they did for me anyway...Heres the link to the site:http://home.nc.rr.com/turbo240sx/engine.html

And here are the pictures you're interested in:http://home.nc.rr.com/turbo240sx/icpipi ... oler-2.jpg

Hope I helpedMarc

Hey cdigity, what did you use to fab the heat shield for the manifold. Do you have any more pictures of that area. Are you using cast or tubular manifold?

thanks

Is the S13 basically the same pipe routing as the S14?
