intercooler piping and bov?

someone told me to use hose for intercooler piping just temporarily.. i dont think i need a bov or do i? and like that, would it hurt anything if i drive it like that for say a week?

Why would you want to risk subjecting a perfectly good and expensive turbo (unless it's complete crap, then nevermind) to compressor surge just to drive it for a week?

I'd hitch a ride with a friend, take the bus,walk, etc. until I had a proper setup with a BOV.

if you drive it real slow, it'll work. just dont get on boost

i was just sayin for a week, but all i was gona do is drive it to where i could get the intercooler piping done an put on then... But thanks for all your info.
