I see most people going turbo put the battery in the trunk so they can run the cold pipe through the battery tray. What if, and it might have already been done, you use a water-air intercooler. You can install e-fans and put the cooler in-between the rad and engine. plus you wouldn't have to worry about cutting your bumper to mount an intercooler. I've always been a fan of "factory looking" sleepers. And what's more sleeper-ish than a turbo'd car and not have an eye sore in the bumper.

I have a water to air intercooler system. No cutting, no battery movement.I am using a Syclone modified water to air and a big as hell oil cooler.Running at 7psi on daily 90 to 100 temps.Water piping is the only hassle but I prefer that to cutting and moving the battery.

Air piping is simply as hell, modified intake pipe and almost no power robbing curves

Bingo! exactly. Very cool. I was hoping I wasn't the only one to think of that. I was thinking about using the pump off a subaru. I know they used a water/air intercooler in some of their cars and had a seperate pump for it. Just need to source one. As well as a turbo. Thanks you two.^
