I bought one those Mishimoto Intercoolers from ebay and it doesn't have any mounting tabs. I was wonderin how u guys mounted ur ICs. BTW i have a 91 240 Hatch

Seems like it would be cheap enough to weld one on. I know it's not a ton of help, but I am in the same boat, and haven't burned that bridge yet.

If you don't want to go the welding route (I know how hard it can be to find a good aluminum tig welder), you can do what I did...I used aluminum angle brackets and riveted them to the end tanks...just make sure you know how to rivet well. And no, the intercooler did NOT leak after doing this, I tested this...the whole concept of a rivet is to expand the hole it's punched into. For insurance, you can coat the hole where the rivet goes with JB-weld, but it's unnecessary.

I'm running a Mishimoto intercooler aswell, however it has 3 threaded bosses for M12 on both the upper and lower part of the core. Yours does not?

I think I will rivet, but will use top of core since it has air tube in it.

you could probably just use jbweld on it.

i had the inlet/outlet jbwelded to the side of my sold tarion IC. it worked just fine.
