intercooler instruction

i am buying a intercooler and universal piping kit to install on my s13/ka24deT , is there any installation info any were can be found on the web or special issue of magazine, or any thing? PLEASE HELP

universal piping kit? that sounds like you get a bunch of pieces and weld them together to me

easiest thing to do is to get the intercooler, take off your bumper and get to cutting. that is how i did mine, and it turned out good, even got to use all 4 mounting points on my intercooler

Depending on how big the intercooler is, you can install it without removing the bumper. I've currently got a spearco 6"x31"(end-tank to end-tank)x3" that I installed by slipping it from under the bumper. I mounted it by drilling two holes on the bumper support, and making brackets that attach to the brackets on the intercooler.
