I bought the cxracing intercooler and I'm trying to put it in but I don't know where to start. I need someone knowledgeable to explain the whole process. I'm not trying to be a nagging newb but I don't know much about how the system works. My kit didn't come with a blowoff valve or wastegate. I don't know if I need to buy a wastegate or if it is already on the turbo. Is there a good source for everything about the system in detail if nobody feels like explaining it. I need to know step by step what I need to do to get the intercooler install over with. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The wastegate is either internal or external. If your still running a stock setup then your is internal. As far as installing the intercooler pull the front bumper of and remove all the old piping. Install the new piping to get a location marked as to where the new intercooler is supposed to go and then mount the cooler. Go back through and make sure all the couplers and bolts are tight and secure. I think the cxracing kit is meant to connect to the rubber hose of the stock bov, but I am not 100% sure on that. Be sure to use the search button and even google. You can find videos and everything.

hey, i just installed the cxracing kit on my sr. i got the hot pipe cut down 1.5 inch and if you want to use that hot pipe your going to have to buy a flange for that hot pipe and have it welded in. but i had the pipe cut down cause i have a s15 turbo, so if you have the t25 it might fit better. if you need help email me at [email protected] i could get some pics and help you threw it. good kit tho fits well and the t clamps are nice with nylon in them

Should have gone for the 50$ more cx racing kit that comes with a flanged hotpipe and BOV. Wastegate is on the turbo.Either spend 70$ for the other hotpipe and bov or buy a flange and BOV and have it welded to your hotpipe.

My kit is sittin next to me can't wait to install it
