Intercooler Boost Leak

Hey guys,

I'm getting down to the very last pieces to finally finish my KA-T build and today I found a boost leak in the intercooler itself. The leak seems to be coming from the welds where the end tank meets the core. It's a fairly small leak and there is only a faint hissing when pressuring the pipes up to 20psi. Since I only plan to run 12psi would JB weld suffice?

This kind of sucks because this is the first time the intercooler has even seen pressure lol. It is a CXracing intercooler that I bought new almost two years ago when I started gathering parts, so I don't think they would allow me exchange it.

Yep, I actually used a dab of silicone and has held 21psi for 5 years now.

I actually had 3 holes in the intercooler, two on the welds and one on the outside of the core. I had to bend some fins to get the JB weld down into it, but it holds fine now at 20psi. First and last ebay part I buy for my car for sure.
