I'm re-doing my SMIC and turbo. The paper gaskets are used but still good, not ripped or worn. Should I replace all the gaskets to do it right or can I re use the old ones and use some kind of RTV/sealant on both sides of the sealing surface?

They're only a couple of bucks unless you spring for the metal gaskets so you should replace them to be on the side of safe.

I have the metal gaskets for the manifold to turbo and turbo to elbow. I'm talking about the papaer gaskets that are on each side of the SMIC and connect to the in/out pipes, and the ones for the T28 inlet and outlet pipes.

My bad, those gaskets. I thought about taking mine apart and replacing them. I came across a thread on here months ago and a guy got a sheet of something from the parts store and cut out his own gaskets and replaced them. I'll see if I can find that old thread.

Also, when I started asking questions about it because I could not find gaskets for the sidemount, people said just to use RTV, so it's users perogative I guess.
