Interchangeable parts

Good afternoon friends. I've been lurking and searching for the last few weeks and I'm ready to participate now. I have not had great luck searching for a few specifics, so I figured I'd just post.

After driving a G35 Coupe through a bunch of Wisconsin winters, I picked up a '97 QX4 to drive when the weather is terrible. It's it pretty decent shape, but it shows it's age with dents, scratches, and wear.

The first thing I'm wondering is, what is directly interchangeable from the newer, face-lifted QX4s (2000+) or even Pathfinders? I'm really talking from a aesthetic point of view as I know some of the engine components change dramatically when going to the V35. Is there any resource out there that goes through each model year that shows changes and whatnot?

The main things I'm consider are:

Headlights/Taillights
Fogs/Blinkers
Grill
Seats
Bumpers

I did a quick google search and: http://www.edmunds.com/infiniti/qx4/1997/ Read the consumer reviews also because they give a lot of information from other owners. I used it to decide on buying my first Nissan Pathfinder and found out how reliable they are. I also think there is websites where you can do side-by-side comparisons of vehicles.
