My local junkyard got on the lot today two Q45s! They never make it to the junk yard around here. One's a 90 and the other's a 93. I was gonna go out tomorrow and see what they had. Will the power antenea motor and stuff from a 90 or 93 fit my 94? How about the headlights?

How much stuff is interchangable between the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen?

Thanks guys.

Antenna motor is interchangeable, none of the lights, including the side markers are. Nor injectors.

For starters grab the MAF's, ECU's, fan control amplifiers and blowers, FPCUs and fuel pumps, armrests, rear ashtray assemblies, steering column surrounds, speakers, dome light assemblies, 93TCU, side view mirrors, emblems (to sell), clocks, coil packs. All these are interchangeable. Easier to tell us what you're looking to pull. The list is longer.

The more you pull the bigger the discount so go there with a long list and a wad of bills in each pocket. Have fun.

Bummer on the lights. I'm not really in need of alot except the antenna and this little fender liner thing that wraps under the front. My Q is in pretty good shape. However, if it has a bunch of good stuff I may start plundering and I was wondering what I could/should get. Why type of spare parts should I get to have lying around JIC.

Did you go by and get some parts? What kinda shape are they in? Has the plundering begun?

I need a transmission and a rear-end for cores when I do my upgrades to Lola.

I did go by this afternoon and you wouldn't believe what had already happened to them after only 3 1/2 days in the yard. (I didn't know they were open on Sat and Sundays or we'd have gone Saturday.) The interior, trunk and engine bay have already been tossed around on both Qs. The coil packs were all gone, the MAF and a bunch of other stuff. I did manage to grab a few things:

My power antenna! Who knows if it works, but it's a start. I scratched up the bezel. One of the Qs had hood struts that were good.. I grabbed a few little things here and there, but it's amazing how fast these things get picked over.

If you want to get some parts, they're cheap enough. I'll go with you. There was a Cherokee with Leather Seats that I'm regretting I didn't pick up already. Wanna go Saturday and pull that rear end and stuff you want?

Lucky. I can't find a damn junkyard around here, let alone one that has Q's.
