Interchangeable bumper years

So I was browsing through the site yesterday and came across a member who installed a 2009 M35 bumper on a 2006 M35. I must admit, it was love at first site. The grill and everything else about it just look like it was meant for a 2006. My question is, what your years are the bumpers interchangeable?

Yes...it is a nice modification to the 06-07 M's. I was able to swap front bumpers a few years ago and it really changed the look of my car. Of course, I went with the 'sport bumper' (2008) since it gave me the aggressive but classic look that I was going for

for both M35/M45 -- 06 to 07, the front bumper is interchangeable with the 08-10 models (sport/standard). You also would need to change the front grille. As far as the rear bumper, I don't believe they are interchangeable -- unless modifications are done for fitment as well as the rear taillights being replaced.

Just as an FYI, you can get the 08-10 front bumpers at InfinitiPartsUSA.com - the parts are OE and far less than getting them at the dealer.

Absolutely beatiful work CPJLB. Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking of going with the 2010 look. I see that you grille is blacked out. Did you plasti-dip. I will be going thru your threads later today. MOTIVATED!

the 08 grille came as is. I picked it up from one of the forum venders (The Tunerz Store). It's the Midnight black grille. Just send a PM to Red_Det and he can provide you the info. If I find the thread, I'll update the post.

just some things you will need if you're doing the front bumper swap:

Front wheel fender liners (2)
Front Grille
lower grille inserts (center and fog sections)
