Ok, so i have been working on my suspension, and i finally bit the bullet and bought sway bars. I shopped around, and finally decided on the IntensePower sway bars as seen here-

http://intensepower.com/innis14frres.html

I know they are not a name brand, are crushbent, and finally the pic dosent show the quality of welds, but i figure, that should not effect the performance of the unit, and also will be better than my oem units.

I ordered them three weeks ago, but for some reason my credit card didnt go thru and i was not notified, i called two weeks later and was finally informed of this. Once that issue was rectified, they processed the order. Today i received the sway bars, or should i say bar. For some reason i only received the front, without the pictured bushing that should of been supplied. The shipping kinda pissed me off, it was the bar just tossed into the box with a thin plastic sleeve over it. When i tried to put it in my house, i realised it punctured the box and sticking out about a good half of a foot. Well this is where i stand now, i am contacting Intense to find out where my other sway bar, and bushing are at. Hopefully the function of the bars outshines my experience so far.

I will throw up some pictures of the sway bar for people as well as document the install. I am doing it with the OEM endlinks for now, and i am ordering the circuit sports front and rear endlinks later. I am doing it this way to see if the bar is making the differance or if the links are.

Yikes not good. That shipping not acceptable, and you should have recieved the bushings and hasp. Keep us posted, but contact them in a cool friendly matter first.

Ouch, that's not good at all. Don't even install them, my dude. Contact them first and see what's up. Like PAHC said, just keep your cool first.

heh, things went smooth, they were apologetic, he looked at weight and was able to confirm that they only sent one of the two needed bars, and is sending the other to me asap, and i should have them by friday. The one i have looks good to me, minor chipping on the red powder coating on the end but i dont really care about that, nor would many people. When i remove my front bar i will take comparisons pics, and if i am in a good mood i might even get a scale to show weight differance. Just so people know what my current suspension setup is, i have All adjustable ISIS arms (tension, ruca, traction, and toe) Stance Coil Overs Gr+ Pro, Nismo Front Power Brace, NRG front strut bar, and Tein Inner and Outer Tierods. My alignment was dead perfect but i changed rims and had to adjust height, so its out of wack, but i plan on a corner balance, once i install my rear z32 brakes, and rear strut bar. This and the endlinks will probally be my final suspension mods. As of now (well once i installed the power brace) my car handles a lot better. I can feel my coils are a little out of wack, but thats what cornerbalance is for.

I looked at the pics on their site... They look like godspeed swaybars which I use, but needed some work.

If you guys don't know, Intense Power is a local shop here in AZ.

I have heard mixed reviews about them, but have not used any of their products personally. Most of the complaints have been due to their shipping, not the parts themselves.

I have dealt with their sales representatives though and was even about to purchase one of the cars they were selling locally by word of mouth (no ads). I wouldn't call them shady per say but there was a LOT left to be desired as far as communication goes. The car got sold out from under me..... They're definitely a money making business. The owner seems to be a loyal guy to the ones he knows, but by no means is it a really small/local business anymore.

I have let Greg and the admin staff aware of this. I won’t beat around the bush, this is not the first or second time I have seen issues with these guys, but we have been able to work through it and get the issues settled. At this time I do say give it a few days and let them make right of this situation. If they don’t, then we will contact them.

meh in my case i dont think it was intentional it wasnt even shipped from them (it came fron Indiana) so i think it was a mistake on the their shippers part, i wasnt attempting to stand on the soap against them, just inform the community about a potentially quality and affordable part. I am under the assumption the issue is resolved, and i will have it by friday, if not, than yes i would be pissed lol

ok its time that i air out intense power, First off i purchased these sway bars around March 3, for some reason there was an issue with my credit card, and i was never notified until about 2 weeks after i asked where my sway bars were at. I then again gave them my credit card info, and the following monday my sway bars arrived. Or should i say sway bar, it was just 1 bar, badly packaged in a box, with no bushings or brackets, i call and notify them of the issue and they said they would have the rest of the materials i needed by friday. On friday the box arrives. It includes the missing rear sway, 2 sets of bushings (more on that later) and no brackets. I start to attempt the rear install, i remove everything, and fiddled with their rear for about 30 mins. When a buddy notified me that i either needed a differant set of bushings as show in their picture or the bracket which i still did not have. Another week wasted, so this last monday i called and notified them that i was sent a wrong set of bushings and that i still did not having the brackets. He told me he would look into the issue and i would be contacted. I did not hear anything so i called back on wednesday, the person i spoke with sounded irritated and told me i would have them by friday. Friday goes by nothing, and its now saturday and nothing still. As of now i want to shove one of the bars up his a** and the other down his throat. This is ridiclous, i think i am pretty patient, and laid back i was not pressing on the situation, hell i even backed them in my last post, but now they can kiss my a**. I wasnt going to post this but after how i feel i felt it was my duty for people to know the s*** i am going through. I dont even want them any more, i do not mind spending the money on another brand or company, and completing about a 2 hour job of installing instead of waiting a month. Maybe its just cause i only spent 150 dollers with their company, i have no clue, what i do know is that i will not purchase anything form them again. I should of stuck with 240sxmotoring, enjuku, or frsport, like i always use and i always get awesome customer service from them. This has delayed my corner balancing, and my project substantially. Literally never again will i purchase something from them again, i was thinking of getting their titanium pedo bear, they can keep that s*** too. I literally remeber dealing with FRSPORT and they called me like 3 weeks when they got something back in stock (tein tierods) that no one else had, they fact he remebered me three weeks after and called me showed me how they take care of their customers, these idiots at intense couldnt call me a day after i talked to them, for an error on their part....

Sorry to hear this happened dude.

As said, it's mostly customer service that they have complaints about. Regardless if they have good parts, if the service sucks, most people won't come back.

I would just keep bothering them as much as you can and "hint" that you'll be spreading the word on how bad their service is. NICO is NOT a small forum and they don't just deal with 240s. If you have any other forums you are a part of, post this there as well.

Ahhhh Intense power. Quick recap of what I went through with these guys. Ordered my coilovers in January, received them at the beginning of June. I got 100 bucks back for having to wait so long, but it was ridiculous how long I had to wait

arghhh, the new rubber mounts that they sent me do not work..... if the bar is 28mm i would say the bushing is about 25 TOPS, literally split when i put it on

I ordered the s13 intercooler kit from them and it took 3 week's to show up after I never received a tracking order and called multiple time's and sent many email's at their request but with now answer ever whether or not it was shipped. Lack of communication and late shipping seems to be the M.O. here.

I placed and order for coilovers on March 1 and have not yet received. I was told that they were in stock and should arrive in 3 days. After a week, I called to find out why I had not received my coilovers. They told me they were backordered. They already billed my credit card for $1125.00 but did not notify me of any changes in the status of my order. Stated that they would be available on 4/31. Guess what ? Not available! Now they will not answer their phone or acknowledge emails. I emailed my order cancellation as well as filed a dispute with my credit card company. The guys at intense Power are nothing but a bunch of lying punks. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES!!!!!!!!!

kinda an old update i finally got my sway bars, and installed them, the rear brackets look like they wont work but they actually do, it looked like a machine error but it wasnt. out side of that i only installed the rear and it made a huge differance, i would definately say it was worth the 150 i paid, but the aggrevation i got along with it was annoying

A lot of this sounds like daja vu for me. I ordered the same sway bars from them and had some of the same problems. The order was a few weeks late and the busings were the wrong size and wouldn't fit. I ended up ordering some energy suspension bushings and brackets in the proper size that I really wanted to run anyway.
The problems were mostly with the supplier and not intense. To make it up to me for the delay and problem, Intense said my next order would be at their cost. They were more than good to me on this. I ordered Stance coilovers and saved about $400. They really tried to make it right and I will order from them again.

My "INTENSE DRAMA" with Intense Motor Sports. So I ordered my Stance LX +Coilovers on February 11th and was told I would get them March 14th. They said they would send receipt and tracking to my email. So march 14th comes around and no coilovers. I had to tell them I would wait on the phone to make sure I received my invoice, got that but no tracking number was available .....of course. I was told they had to fill back orders and this shipment did not have enough to fill my order and would have to wait for the next shipment in June. Wouldn't you know my shipment never arrives and still no tracking number, and of course my order was not in this container. They said the container that arrived did not have any LX+'s in them that the next one would have them. Sure they "saved me some money" but had I know this would have been the situation, I GLADLY WOULD HAVE PAID HUNDREDS FOR BETTER SERVICE AND MY F*ING PRODUCT!!!!!!! Needless to say I am getting a refund, and NEVER PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM INTENSE MOTOR SPORTS!!! They are WORTHLESS! :wtf2: :bang :stickhit: :bigfu:
